PR/PRF blood preparation at Chicago's Iteld Aesthetics Institute

PRF EZ Gel plasma filler is a totally natural regenerative and volumizing filler. Thanks to the inclusion of growth factors from your blood, this autologous biostimulatory treatment can help address lack of volume in the skin while providing longer-lasting regeneration. The filler aspect lasts about three months and the rejuvenating part lasts six to twelve months.

What is EZ Gel?

EZ Gel is a plasma filler that is a 100% natural, containing both serum albumin and growth factors (PRF) obtained through your own blood. Using the body’s own powerful proteins instead of relying on artificial components, it’s a fabulous treatment for skin rejuvenation and volumization.

How is it created?

Similar to a blood test, we draw a small amount of your blood to convert into your custom filler. The next step involves using a centrifuge on the entire blood sample to separate the components. Then, heating, cooling, mixing the elements together, and voilà! we produce a unique concentration that contains growth factors of liquid PRF and the albumin of plasma.

What does EZ Gel treat?

This is an extremely versatile filler. We can use it for volume enhancement and symmetry adjustment, as well as skin rejuvenation. It stimulates collagen production, reduces acne scars, as well as the signs of aging including wrinkles, fine lines, and loose skin. It can tackle lack of volume, uneven skin, recessed scars, and more. Common treatment areas in the face include:

  • under eye hollows and bags
  • crow’s feet
  • cheeks
  • nasolabial folds
  • marionette lines
  • lips
  • smoker lines
  • chin
  • jawline
Why Choose EZ Gel?

Since it contains nothing except components of your own blood…

  • It’s ideal for patients who want something natural with no foreign substances.
  • We can inject it just about anywhere, including difficult places to inject and in areas not appropriate for other fillers, such as around the eyes and the mouth.
  • It’s a possible solution for patients who have had an allergic reaction to fillers but still would like to add fullness to facial areas.
What can you expect before, during, and after treatment?

Speak with us about any medications you take. You’ll need to discontinue blood thinning products such as ibuprofen, and certain supplements one week before your treatment.

Your comfort is very important to us. That’s why our expert aesthetic injector nurse will use various numbing techniques. For some areas, she will apply a topical numbing cream. For others, she will inject lidocaine locally and use needle or cannulas so she can expertly place the EZ Gel where you need it.

Following your injectable treatment, you can expect some redness and tenderness similar to that from any other filler. Bruising and swelling can occur but should subside within 24 – 48 hours. Using ice and avoiding strenuous exercise can help reduce these side effects.

We recommend two to three treatments spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart. You may need additional treatments every 4 – 6 months to maintain your results.

Who can get EZ Gel filler?

This is a great options for most patients. However, you should wait to schedule EZ Gel if you are currently taking antibiotics, or have recent or upcoming dental procedures, or recent or upcoming vaccinations. Patients with platelet disorders such as thrombpocytopenia are not candidates for EZ Gel.

Fillers are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
